The PL-ELS 2100 surpasses other ELSDs for low temperature HPLC applications with semi-volatile compounds. Its innovative design represents the next generation of ELSD technology, providing optimum performance across a diverse range of HPLC applications. The PL-ELS 2100's unique patented gas control permits evaporation of high boiling solvents at very low temperatures, for example, 100% water at a flow rate of 5ml/min can be removed at 30°C. The novel design (patent pending) of the PL-ELS 2100 provides superior performance compared to competitors' detectors for the analysis of semi-volatile compounds.

The PL-ELS 1000 is well established, renowed for its rugged design and able to deliver high performance for demanding HPLC or GPC applications. The nebulizer and evaporator can be operated at very high temperatures to efficiently handle high boiling point solvents commonly used in GPC that other ELSDs simply cannot manage.

Wide Temperature Range
The PL-ELS 1000 has been designed to operate at high temperatures, in order to handle high boiling point solvents such as dimethylformamide (DMF). It is the only ELSD that can operate to 300°C, making it ideal for high temperature GPC (HTGPC).

The PL-ELS 1000µ is designed for microbore and capillary LC. Based on Polymer Laboratories' extremely successful analytical ELSD technology, the PL-ELS 1000µ has been optimized for operation at eluent flow rates from 5µl/min to 500µ/min.

Low Dispersion
Traditionally, sample dispersion in the detector has been a primary concern in microbore and capillary HPLC applications. To eliminate this problem, Polymer Laboratories has designed the PL-ELS 1000µ to give very low band broadening and hence very low sample dispersion for columns down to 300µm ID.
